Paul this just spoke to me because it so looks like that "red sky in the morning, sailor take warning" sunrise at sea in the Gulf of Mexico that it keeps me coming back. The composition keeps interest with its dynamic division and color complements. The "informed brushwork" is very expressive and is the story line for me - the brush imparts the energy the scene evokes.
